Students, you were amazing!

Each edition of PQ play students the important part of the program as well as the part of the production team. PQ 2019 thanks to all participants, interns, and volunteers not only among students that made PQ 2019 possible! We also thank to ten thousands of student visitors that made it to Prague across the globe and enjoyed 11 days of fruitful program.

PQ 2019 presented three thematic areas that were inspired by PQ’s highest prize the Golden Triga. The three areas were Imagination, Transformation, and Memory. The Imagination circuit included the Student Exhibition – Exhibition Work of Students, Young Scenographers and New Stage Design Studios, Site Specific Performance FestivalPQ Studio– a program for beginning theater creators, and PQ Youth and Family – a program for families with children. The Transformation circuit included the Exhibition of Countries and Regions, the Performance Space Exhibition, project Formations which brought together architecture, urbanism, dance and movement theater, audiovisual project 36Q° and a series of lectures and debates PQ Talks. The Memory circuit included the Fragments exhibition that presented iconic objects and artifacts. The project Emergence crossed all thematic areas of PQ.

The PQ 2019 included three competitive exhibitions: the Exhibition of Countries and Regions, the Student Exhibition and the Performance Space Exhibition. The list of awarded countries and regions is available HERE.
