Marie Zdeňková has worked in the Theatre Institute Prague since 1985. She is the author of Czech Made - Současná česká scénografie (Contemporary Czech Scenography, 2003), co-author of A Mirror of World Theatre II (2001) as well as the texts for the Prague Quadrennial ´67-´03 DVD. She has contributed to many exhibition catalogues including: Salón české scénografie (Salon of Czech Scenography, 1995), Salón české scénografie (Salon of Czech Scenography, 2005), The Scenographer’s Art: Czech Theatre Stage & Costume Design of the XXth Century (2003), and Metaphor and Irony 2: František Tröster and Contemporary Czech Theatre Design (2004). She regularly publishes articles in such Czech magazines as Divadelní noviny, Svět a divadlo, Czech Theatre and Atelier. She is also the editor of Česká divadelní architektura (Czech Theatre Architecture, 1999) by J. Hilmera and Libor Fára/Dílo (Libor Fára/Works, 2006) by V.Velemanová and V. Lahoda.
